I have been collecting Matryoshka or Russian nesting dolls because they are so very lovely, but they yield super tiny doos, as you can see this picture. The two smallest dolls work fine in 1:12 scale. Perhaps I will try making one myself, but gosh the tiny doll wouldn't be easy.

Another garage sale dollhouse
I couldn't resist this inexpensive dollhouse at a garage sale. It will take some work to fix a few things, and it certainly needs steps to the porch.

Large Stained Glass window for a castle
This is a stained glass Gothic window wall fountain and the glass window measures a foot. Although it has a variety of uses, I admit I like this as is, but eventually I'll get a room built for it in the castle.

Handmade dollhouse from thrift
No, I have no idea what I'll do with it but yet another thrift bargain. It was filled with many pieces of handmade wooden furniture, so I thought that was pretty nifty. I have always liked the idea of a front-opening dollhouse though.

Dollar Tree's Miniature gargoyles
Dollar Tree is an entire line of Halloween miniatures, including these gargoyles and much more. These are perfect for a castle, or mansion, or haunted/Halloween setting. They also have tombstones and houses.

Perfect for a miniature castle
Found this candle holder (I put a fountain in the candle holder part) that I know will be a great addition to the front of the castle. It's about 16" tall, and I'll have it connect to a room for the front. I will find a better fountain or make one for the front but wanted to show you how neat it was. Another lucky thrift find.

Miniature Spanish Wall and Fountain
This is another thrift shop find, and it was broken in various areas, and missing some pieces. So I used glue, then alcohol ink, for the floor, created two lion heads for the stops up higher (something had been glued there but was now gone) and so forth. I think it could be used in the castle, but for now I want to continue fixing it up and adding some flowers. I think a lower floor would be good as well. That way I'll get a whole scene.
